When I was in prison for the neutrality issue I came across the James Commentary that Ray Co wrote, my journey started there.The book was so different from all other Watchtower material, no mention to 2 classes or gb adoration.Thanks Ray!

Vidgun, I agree with the OT imagery, many times in order to understand Revelation you need to look more closely to OT imagery or OT accounts ,but I think the connection between the beast of Revelation 13:1-5 with Daniel 7 is obvious since the Revelation beast I'd made up from the animal parts of the beasts of Daniel 7
Revelation 13:2
"Now the wild beast that I saw was like a leopard(=3rd beast)) but its feet were like those of a bear,(=2nd beast) and its mouth was like a lion’s(=1st beast) mouth."
I don't think that's a coincidence

Rules & Regulations, you can't be upset with a God that doesn't exist.If He does exist you have to accept that you're dealing with a non terrestrial entity that has existed for eons of time and He made it clear in the Bible that His ways are not our ways, and His judgements are not like our judgement.
I would recommend a book called "The Unseen Realm" by reknown Bible Scholar Michael Heitzer .In the Old Testament God delegated power far more than He did in the New Testament to other angels and that would explain some "inconsistencies" in delivery of judgements.

God killed them because they were drunk and they didn't take seriously their position as priests of the Tabernacle.That being the case, what exactly is the argument here? Has God the right to set rules ? Has God has the right to terminate life as he pleases? I'm not taking a position just trying to understand the nature of the argument here

Hi Joao, I faced the exact same situation.It build down to whether your marriage is based totally on the cult or not.At first the anger the disappointment and bitterness can be a catalyst in your relationship. I'd say go slow with your wife as indoctrination of that type is hard to break.Small steps at the time and always maintain the position that you care about the truth above anything else, make your wife slowly to accept it is your right to have doubts, questions and the right to stop being a witness.PM me if you want to discuss it further
